History: Langfang has a long and profound history. It was said that as early as 4,300 years ago, the ancestors of human inhabited in this area. It was the boundary of Yan Kingdom in Spring and Autumn. During Han and Tang Dynasties, it was under the domain of Youzhou and Lizhou. In the early of 1900s, Langfang was a remote village. In 1897, Beijing-Shanhaiguan Railway passed through and set up a station in this area, when Langfeng developed into a country gradually.
Climate: Langfang enjoys a temperate continental monsoon climate featuring four distinctive seasons. The summer is hot and rainy and the winter is dry and cold. There are windy in spring and autumn. Its annual average temperature is 11.9℃. The mean sunshine hour is about 2,660 hours.

Railway- Langfang is the strategic passage of Beijing-Jiulong Railway, connecting Langfang with other major cities of China such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Jinan, Nanjing, Yantai, Tangshan, Baotou, Ningbo, and so on.
Highway- Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Highway is across the city. Langfang Langfang Coach Station has coaches to Beijing, Tianjin, Chengde, Handan, Zhangjiakou, Tangshan, etc.

Attractions: Xianghe Grand Epoch City- Grand Epoch City (天下第一城) is located in the development zone, Xianghe county. It is 52 km from Beijing and 70 km from Tianjin. It is a grand archaized architectural complex which imitates the model of old Beijing in Ming and Qing Dynasties according to the scale of 1:1. Covering an area of more than 200 hectares, the Grand Epoch City contains temples, fountains, winding hutongs, placid ponds and a myriad of other amenties.
