Location: Mount Jiuhua (九华山) is in Qingyang county, Chizhou city, Anhui province.

Climate: Mount Jiuhua has a Northern Subtropics moist monsoon climate, at the same time, it feature a small alpine climate. The annual average temperature is 13.4℃. It has a precipitation of 2437.5mm. The sunshine is shorter than the foot of mountain.
Attractions: Mt. Jiuhua, together with Mount Wutai in Shanxi, Mount Putuo in Zhejiang, Mt. Emei in Sichuan is recognized as “four Buddhism Mountains” of China. Mount Jiuhua is considered to be one of the best summer resorts in China for its pleasant climate and graceful landscape. Covering an area of 120 square kilometers, Mount Jiuhua is composed of 99 peaks, 18 scenic spots and 70 temples.
Jiuhua Street-Jiuhua Street is the center of Mount Jiuhua with an altitude of more than 600 meters. It is the starting point to climb up Mount Jiuhua. Temples, school, hotels and stores gather along the street.
Hucheng Temple- Originally founded in 401, Huacheng Temple is the oldest of all the temples of Mount Jiuhua. The temple consists of four parts: the lobby, the grand hall, the back hall and the Scripture Tower. The doors, windows, brackets. beams, columns, steps and the cornerstone are carved with exquisite designs.
Tiantai Temple- Tiantai Temple, or Ksitigarbha Buddhist Temple, was built in the early Ming Dynasty and renovated during Guangxu's reign(1875-1908) in the Qing Dynasty. Towering on a precipitous cliff of the Tiantai Peak, this five-storied run-on architectural complex resembles a magnificent castle from a distance. Over the arched front door are inscribed "Culmination World" in huge charactcrs and "Not This World" beside them. The chief attractions in the temple are the Ten-Thousand-Buddha Tower and arched doors.
