Ginseng
The English word ginseng derives from the Chinese term rénshēn. Rén means "Person" and shēn means "plant root", which resembles the legs of a person. Ginseng may be included in small doses in energy drinks or tisanes, such as ginseng coffee, and in Jilin area, they are of premium quality, and approved as the authentic in China. The Wild Ginseng of Changbai Mountain is particularly the most expensive one among ginsengs.
Wood Carving
Wood carving is a form of working wood by means of a cutting tool in one hand and one hand on a mallet, resulting in a wooden figure or figurine, or in the sculptural ornamentation of a wooden object, with over 2000 years of history in China. It forms an important hidden element in the art history of many cultures. Wood is light and can take very fine detail so it is highly suitable for masks and other sculpture intended to be worn or carried. It is also much easier to work than stone.
