History: Cangzhou was the territories of all kingdoms constantly. In 1st, Aug, 1949, Cangzhou county was set up and was combined with Tianjin. In 1983, Cangzhou city was founded and under the domain of Hebei Province.
Climate: Due to the position of eastern part of Eurasian continent, Cangzhou has obvious continental climate. It features four distinctive seasons with cold, dry winters and hot, humid summer. The annual mean temperature is 12.9℃ and the monthly 24-hour average temperature ranges from -3℃ to 26.5℃. The city receives 2,663 hours of sunshine annually.

Attractions: Wuqiao Great Acrobatic World- Wuqiao is a famous land of acrobatics. The "Wuqiao Great Acrobatics World" (吴桥杂技大世界) integrates modern and traditional acrobatics, Chinese and foreign acrobatics and magic into one, thus forming the largest tourist attraction with most local features in China. The "Cangzhou Martial Arts Festival" and "Wuqiao Acrobatic Culture Festival" are held regularly.
Beida Mosque- Cangzhou is also a famous land of Moslem where the Koran was firstly translated into Chinese. It embraces the Beida Mosque (清真北大寺), one of the four major mosques in China. The mosque was first established in Ming Dynasty. Covering an area of 3,200 square meters, it consist of three grand halls.
