Ming and Qing Street
The Ming and Qing Street in the ancient town is the shopping center. There are various local specialty shops with unique architectural styles on both sides of the street, such as Changshengyuan millet wine shop, Yonglonghao lacquer ware shop, Jianyiyuan paper cuttings shop, ect. These time-honored brands are not only the specialty, but also the cultral legacy.
Qu's Shoes Shop
It was originally a family workshop for ancestors and has now become the first professional shoes shop opened in the ancient city of Pingyao. The shoes shop adopts fully handmade insoles, with a wide variety of shoes that are very regional and exquisitely crafted.

Yong Long Hao (Pingyao Lacquerware Museum)
The former site of "Yonglonghao" located in the south of the town is the location of the "Pingyao Lacquerware Museum", which comprehensively and systematically introduces and displays the types, historical evolution, and artistic works of Pingyao lacquerware.
There are exhibition rooms in the museum, including a brief introduction to the history of lacquerware, an exhibition of high-quality lacquerware from past dynasties, and a special exhibition of famous lacquerware works.
The museum is a tourist attraction integrating tourism and shopping. There are art exhibition of Chinese lacquer ware, workshops for craftsmen and artists and technicians, and courtyards in Pingyao during the Ming and Qing Dynasties with original colors and flavors of classical fishing.
