    Actually,Hengshan Road is not far from Huaihai Road (淮海路) where there are lots of malls and department store. You may take subway line 1 for 2-3 stops.

    There is a shopping mall named “Huayou Commercial Plaza” (华友商业广场), about 650 meters northeast of your hotel. Wall out from your hotel and turn left, walking along Huayou Road (华友路) and you will find the plaza in about 650 meters.

    You may go to Nanjing East Road. You can take subway or taxi. Everybody knows East Nanjing Road ( or Nanjing Road), the most busy shopping street in Shanghai.

    Once you are on East Nanjing Street ( 南京东路), you try to locate the shopping center for kids – 宝大祥青少年儿童购物 ( No. 673-699, East Nanjing Road. )

    Just follow up to my previous reply ( sorry, mistaken for Beijing).

    Actually you hotel has a super location perched on West Nanjing Road. You just walk from your hotel to the east direction for East Nanjing Road which is a traffic-free shopping street in Shanghai lined with plentiful shopping malls and departments.

  16. I walked about 1 km to the end of a large wide mall, Im not sure which mall it was. There was a pharmacy near one end and they directed me to a bookstore next door as I was looking for musical instruments. On the 5th floor of the bookshop I found musical DVD’s etc but a small sign leading to a musical instrument shop down a corridor. Could you tell me where the musical shop address is please?

For domestically made sweaters, as far as I know, a brand based in Shanghai known as “Hengyuanxiang” (恒源祥)sweaters in Cashmere, Wool, & Cable-Knit are among the best quality products domestically made.

    The Shanghai-based Hengyuanxiang Group is China’s largest wool processing and knitting company.

    You can find many kinds of sweaters of Hengyuanxuang brands available at the major departments or shopping malls in Shanghai.
