Guang' anmen Hospital of TCM Beijing is a general TCM hospital affiliated to China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It is a TCM hospital for conducting clinical practice, scientific research and teaching, coupled with specialties in many departments. It is the national TCM Center of Cancer, Diabetes and Anorectal Diseases approved by the State Administration Bureau of TCM. It is also a clinical pharmacological research base of Chinese herbs, a part of Traditional Medicine Cooperative Center organized by WHO, a training base for those doctors of Western Medicine who want to learn TCM and a clinical teaching place for the students studying in four medical colleges.
Guang'anmen Hospital of TCM Beijing is equipped with enough modern medical instruments such as CT, X-ray, ECT，cobalt-60 therapy unit, ultrasonic technicolor doppler, cranial and abdominal ultrasound, bronchoscope, gastroscope, colon scope, holter, electrocardiographic monitoring system, biochemical analyzer, dynamic examination of urine stream, hemodialysis and ESWL.
As one of the important windows of international medical exchange, Guang An Men Hospital receives many foreigners for medical treatments, visits, study and academic exchange. The International Clinical and TCM Training Center have training programs in different aspects such as acupuncture, Chinese massage, and herbal medicine are available for the foreign students or ordinary visitors.
