We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

有“精神内涵”才旅运长久
 
十一届香港特别行政区全国人大代表视察团日前在接受记者采访时建议,山西作为中国文化旅游资源大省,发展旅游时应注重提升精神内涵。

  香港人大代表对山西的建议,对人不无启发———随着旅游这个朝阳产业的兴盛,全国各地的旅游市场表面上是在持续升温,但走马观花、猎奇猎艳式的旅游已慢慢失宠,游客对旅游文化乃至一个地方的“精神内涵”更感兴趣。

在笔者看来,不仅山西需要提升旅游的“精神内涵”,其它地方亦应有所启发。

  现代管理学认为,如果把企业比作一辆马车,产品研发和营销就分别是马车的两个车轮。由此不难看出,产品研发之于企业的重要性。庞大的旅游产业目前的情况,恰恰缺乏“旅游产品”的有效研发。即使有些地方在尝试着推陈出新,但往往落于“窠臼”,或比葫芦画瓢,或千篇一律,或盲目设置旅游项目……原因何在?就在于没有重视产品的“精神内涵”。一个典型事例就是,最近几年,“大佛”遍地,而且号称“第一”者有之。虽然这些人绞尽脑汁,但“香火”仍赶不上传统的佛教圣山。

  笔者认为,每个地方若想旅运长盛不衰,要发展与地域文化特色结合紧密的旅游产业。例如安徽,人们很快就会想到“徽商”;到了山西,自然就想到了“晋商”;到了河南,人们就会想到中华文明的发祥地;到了北京,人们最想看的除了天安门,还有充满京味的前门大街、“老北京”等。如果盲目地“人云亦云”,缺乏自身的文化底蕴、精神内涵,不仅不能很好的宣传本地,而且会引起游客的反感,丧失很多潜在的游客。

  另一个“精神内涵”缺乏的表现是,逐利倾向太浓。游客上山、下海,要的是一份兴致、一种放松。然而,高昂的景区消费总是让人望而却步。甚至还有一些景区想方设法将游客的钱从“腰包”掏出。当然,这些与旅行社、导游不无关系。然而,对于名山大川、佛道圣地等一些传统旅游景点来说,过多的与金钱挂钩,无形中会降低这个地方的文化品位。

  在这方面,笔者认为,旅游部门可以围绕风景“名”字,不断完善和丰富旅游产品体系,开发出更多富有某一地域精神内涵的“延伸旅游产品”,给游客以充分选择的余地。例如古都西安,秦始皇兵马俑、华清池、法门寺、大小雁塔等景区分批开放,形成“文物游”的主打品牌后,西安就因地制宜,拓展“文物游”的文化内涵,建成了中国第一个全方位展示盛唐风貌的大型皇家园林式文化主题公园———大唐芙蓉园,其中繁多的文化衍生产品吸引了不同层次的游客需求。

  随着国人文化认知能力的不断提高,对旅游的更深层次文化需求越来越渴望。笔者认为,每一个地方都亟待更加深入地对旅游文化进行开发、探究,找出自身的特色“精神内涵”,让地域特色和精神内涵融为一体,打造出独一无二的旅游品牌。
