Evening View of the Bund and Pudong Skyline Shanghai

The Bund is one of the best spots to allow you to catch the mesmerizing evening views of Shanghai.  People flock here in the evening for the glimpse of the surreal neons and lights exuded from futuristic skyscrapers on the east side of Huangpu River and the concession-era art-deco buildings on the west side of the elevated Bund.

The best time to view the Bund and Pudong Skyline is the one hour between from and after the sunset with a backdrop of bluish sky before it is getting completely dark.

After dinner time when it’s getting very dark, the whole Bund will be full of visitors, making you difficult walking through the crowds along the Bund. To beat the crowds, you’d better off getting to the Bund during sunset with still bluish sky and cozy sunset glow over the high-rises on Pudong. So before you go, check out the time for sunset to set your travel plan.

The sun glow will be cast on the skyscrapers which throw their reflections on the surfaces of Huangpu River, creating photogenic moments for visitors. With the fading sun glow comes the neons and flashing lights from the buildings on the both sides of the promenade – the Bund with the sky still bluish, the best moment for the evening view!
