While planning your Beijing tour,  you definitely would consider having a bite of local flavors in Beijing like Peking duck, old Beijing snacks and the list could be much longer. One popular local specialty is so-called Old Beijing Yogurt which gets its name due to its unique way of yogurt making with a long history.

Old Beijing Yogurt has three kinds of taste – original, low fat and honey.  It has a cute ceramic yogurt  bottle like a fat baby. Now Old Beijing Yogurt is everywhere and mostly sold at streetfront stores. People can eat Old Beijing Yogurt at a normal temperature, or a little bit refrigerated or warmed in winter.

At present Old Beijing Yogurt is sold at the price of RMB 5. But in some tourist area, Old Beijing Yogurt  could be sold at the exorbitant  price of RMB 10

After finishing your yogurt with a straw poking through the paper cover,  you  are requested to return the cute ceramic container.
