Peach Picking and Bolitai Great Wall Day Tour

Tour Description
Picked up from your downtown hotel in Beijing around 8:30am and transferred to Pinggu Peach Garden for fresh peaches picking. Pinggu Disrict is located about 40km to the far east of Beijing. The district is subdivided into 2 subdistricts of the city of Pinggu, 14 towns, and 2 townships. It has an area of 950 square kilometers and a population of about 400,000. It is famous for peach planting. Pinggu peaches were a tribute in ancient times, and are nowadays served at state banquets. Fees for peaches picked ( not included ) - Payment is made by measuring the fruit in the basket before leaving the fruits garden.
After lunch, drive along deep valley called Flying Dragon Valley. The ravine is well known for its deep valley, original sandstones, thick forest, beautiful waters and mysterious caves. This north-south canyon is a 8 km-long, 20m wide and 7m wide at the narrowest. Then drive up along the mountain roads with hairpin turns and cross over the mountain to get to Bolitai Village. The Bolitai Great Wall here is made of rocks and stones, not bricks made in kilns. Only one section of the wall in Village has been cleared and cleaned, bushes and saplings removed from the wall for easy one and half hour walking.
After hiking the Bolitai Great Wall, return to the city proper of Beijing.
