Hello, I’d like to book a taxi from Shibaozhai Red Pagoda to Chongqing Airport. I’m only 1 person and I don’t need luxury cars. How much the fare will be please?

  2. Daniel says:

    Dear Arianna,

Shibaozhai Red Pagoda is located about 240 km to the northeast of Chongqing Airport. Basically it costs about 100 yuan. Just for your reference.

  3. Kris says:

Hi, are there any wheelchair accessible taxis i can book to go from airport to hotel? Chongqing airport to The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square Hotel. Thank you.

  4. Daniel says:

    Dear Kris,

As far as I know, there are very few accessible taxis in Chongqing. Maybe you may ask your hotel for assistance. Have a nice time in Chongqing!

  5. Kris says:

Daniel, thanks for your quick reply!

Yes, I’m finding it really challenging and frustrating to get any information on wheelchair accessible transportation in Chongqing. I’m getting the idea that there are no taxis, the hotel and even the China based travel agency can’t point me to any. Are there any other transportation services besides taxis that can load a wheelchair? How do wheelchair users get around in Chongqing?

    Thank you for your time.

  6. Daniel says:

    Dear Kris,

Thanks for your inquiry! It is a bit tough question for me regarding How wheelchair users get around in Chongqing. Basically, unlike Canada and the US, you have accessible buses or other transportation tools for wheelchair users, we have little or less developed public transport system for wheelchair users. As far as I know, most of them have to reduce their outdoor time. This is only my personal view.

Awfully sorry for my inability to solve your problem. Hope you have good luck on your trip to Chongqing!
