Lanzhou Yintan Wetland Park

Yintan Wetland Park is located on the both sides of Yintan Bridge in the west section of North Bank Road in Anning District of Lanzhou. The wetland is on the northern bank of Yellow River in the west of Lanzhou city with an area of 32.85 actres. The water network of the wetland park is about 3000 meters long. It is the first wetland park in Gansu Province.

The wetland is a kind of river wetland built for the purpose of duplicating the beautiful view of Yellow River wetland, restoring the eco-system and protect the environment. The wetland landscape changes with the rise and ebb of the tide. Different seasons have different views.

The 3000 meter water network and 2000 meter the boardwalk divides the park into several parts including 4 lakes. The wetland park has 22 bridges of various sizes, 9 thatched pavilions, over 10 kinds of birds and animals and over one hundred of plants.

People are immersed in the Yellow River wetland from viewing or touching the water, the grass, the trees, the bridges and stones here.

It is highly recommended to have a walk along the southern bank of Yellow River to Yintan Bridge, then walk across the bridge to its north tip. The 3000 meter wetland is located to the east and west side of Yintan Bridge.
