Jade Dragon Snow Mountain can be seen from every where of the city, and flowers are in blossom. What’s more, there are fewer tourists in spring than other seasons.

  1. When is the best time to see autumn leaves in Lijiang? Last 2 weeks of October or early November?
    Thank you

  2. Hello, we are thinking about backpacking around Yunnan (including Lijiang), the problem is we can go only in February. Do you think Lijiang will be still enjoyable at this time? Because I´m afraid that during this month the weather will be neither snowy nor warm. Thank you!

  3. Dear Martina Lizakova,

Don’t worry about traveling Yunnan in February. The spring festival in 2018 falls on Feb 16 and there will be a lot of travelers coming to Yunnna ( Lijiang ) in Feb. It is not a bad time and you can enjoy the snow scene of Yulong Snow Mountain.

Still cold and wear warmly ( Big temperature difference between day and night).

    Have a nice time!

  4. Hi,
I am planning to go to Kumming, Dali & Lijiang from Oct 5 to 13 with my family of 5 person. Is it a good time to see the autumn leaves and will it be cold. Please advise and can I rent a van with driver to take us around. Do you have the contact numbers of the drivers. I would appreciate very much for your help. Thanks.
