    Hello,
Can you suggest what is the best hike to do at this time of year on Huashan? We are in Xi’an right now and would like to go up and down Huashan in one day. How long does it take to go up? How long does it take to hike along the tops of the peaks? What is a good route for this time of year? I gather there is a lot of snow!
Thanks very much for any suggestions you can provide 🙂

    Hi Kyla,

If you are in Xian, basically you should take into account the travel time from Xian to Mt.Huashan and back. In your case, you’d better take the cable car up to the North Peak and hike to the West Peak where you take the cable car down. You don’t have to return to the North Peak. It takes about 5-6 hours. If you don’t have strong legs, you may just walk around the North Peak and take the cable car down from the North Peak.

    Have a good time!
