Helen,
HI!!  I have been meaning to sit down and write you an email!  I cannot thank you enough for all you and your agency did for our family.  Our China trip was AMAZING!!  We feel in love with your country, the people and all the fun places!!  And, of course, Ecoh is now like a part of our family. 
We all miss her!!!  She was a wonderful guide throughout the whole trip!!  The other guides were great!  The cities were exciting!!  The trains were fast and fun!!  There is so much more of China that we would love to come see now that we have had a small sample of all it has to offer!!! 
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!  We couldn’t be more pleased!!!  I have attached a few fun pictures of our family.  If only Ecoh were in more of them!!!  🙂

Their original itinerary:

Day 01: June.25th. Arrival in Beijing.
Arrival in Beijing. Meet and transfer to your hotel. Panda house will be arranged in the afternoon.

Day 02: June.26th. Beijing ( B L D )
First visit
Forbidden City , that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. Then move on to Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the biggest square in the world.

On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture.

After lunch go on with the visit to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Then move on to Summer Palace,, originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty. Back to your hotel. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening.

 
Day 03: June.27th. Beijing – Xian by overnight train ( B L D )
After breakfast, have an excursion to
Badaling Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, continue to visit Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening..

On the way to your Train Station., we will pass by “Bird’s Nest”- the main Olympic Stadium built for the 2008 Olympic Games. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts.

After dinner, transferred to Beijing West Station and take overnight Train No.Z19 starting at 19:57 for Xian ( four-bed cabin ).

Day 04: June.28th. Arrival in Xian ( L D )
After breakfast, take morning flight for Xian. Met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Xian. After lunch, your city tour begins with a visit to The Shaanxi Museum – a large modern museum of the national level. Then move on to Big Goose Pagoda. Originally Big Goose Pagoda consisted of a brick structure of five storeys and was about 60 meters high. Originally built in 589A.D. Continue to visit the Great Mosque, the biggest and most preserved complete Chinese existent mosque. It was first built at the Tianbao first year (742 years) during Tang Dynasty. After having the local flavor – dumpling dinner, enjoy Tang Dynasty Show in the evening. Transferred back to your hotel.
Day 05; June. 29th. Xian ( B L )

Day 06: June. 30th.  Xian – Luoyang ( B L ) by high speed train G2002(08:30-10:21)
Pick up from your hotel in Xian. Transferred to Xian Railway Station and take the high speed train G2002 (8:30-10:20) for Luoyang. Met by our tour guide in Luoyang. First visit the Longmen Grottoes. It is situated on the Yihe River bank, about 12 kilometers from Luoyang city. It is one of the three most valuable Buddhist cave and rock carvings in China.

the Terra-cotta Army – a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old terra-cotta Army of China’ First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. After lunch, drive back to the city center and visit the Xian City Wall, a symbol of great significance of the famous historic cultural city of Xian. Back to your hotel.

Then move on to Luoyang Museum. The Luoyang Museum is a city-level historical museum of China. The Museum shows over 1,700 cultural and historical relics in 5 showrooms — a presentation of 5 different social development periods such as the Primitive Society, the Slavery Society, and the Feudal Society.
After lunch, continue to visit the White Horse Temple, the first Buddhist Temple ever built in China! Then go on with a tour of Guanlin Temple, also called Warrior Guan Yu’s Tomb, a site where the head of Guan Yu was buried. Back to your hotel in Luoyang.

Day 07:July.1st.. Luoyang – Shaolin Temple(Car)- Zhengzhou(Car) – Suzhou (Bullet train) ( B L )
Luoyang – Shaolin Temple(Car) – ZhengzhouCar) – Suzhou by Bullet Train D184(14:41/21:07)( Transfer to 
Shaolin Templeby coach, the foundation of Chinese Kongfu. The tourists would see how the monks are practicing everyday. Then transfer to Zhengzhou Train Station by road and take the daytime bullet train to Suzhou. Accommodation in Suzhou.

 

Day 08: July.2nd.  Suzhou – Hangzhou Bullet Train D5471(18:15-21:03) ( B L )
After breakfast, first visit Linggering Garden, one of the best and most celebrated as a model Ming Dynasty Garden in all of Suzhou. Then move on to the Ancient City Gate and Grand Canal for outside looking. The Panmen City Gate is the oldest city gate in existence in Suzhou city. The Gand Canal is one of the greatest ancient projects in China and is the longest man-made canal in world. After lunch, Then move on to Tiger Hill – one of Suzhou’s famous site and symbol of Suzhou City. After the tour in Suzhou, transferred back to your midtown hotel in Shanghai. Then have a short tour of a silk spinning factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14th century before you are transferred to Suzhou Railway Station and take train D5471 (18:15-21:03) for Hangzhou.

Day 09:July.3rd.  Hangzhou – Shanghai by Bullet Train 5688( 19:46-21:18) ( B L D )
Pick up from your midtown hotel in Hangzhou and head to a wharf at West Lake. Finish your cruise at the Huagang Park Wharf. Move on to Huagang Park ( Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond Park ). It is a peninsula projecting into the lake. Continue to visit Leifeng Pagoda. Ascending to the top of the pagoda and looking down, one has a panoramic view of West Lake.
After local Chinese lunch, you are taken to Longjing Tea Plantation to experience the traditional method of making Longjing (Dragon Well) Tea as well drinking, picking, smelling or buying. Finally continue to vist Lingyin Temple. After dinner, you will be transferred to Hangzhou Railway Station and take Bullet Train 5688( 19:46-21:18) for Shanghai. Met and tansferred to your hotel in Shanghai.

Day 10: July.4th. Shanghai ( B L D )
Morning is free on your own. After lunch, visit Yu Garden.  a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Move on to the Old City God’s Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. In the evening dinner will be served. .

you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of a Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.

After dinner, you will be arranged to enjoy the fantastic acrobatic show

Day 11:July.5th. Shanghai ( B L )
First visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then proceed to visit the “Pedestrians only” Nanjing Pedestrian Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. Then move on to The Bund

, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. After lunch, go to Shanghai’s new zone – Pudong ( east of Huangpu River) and ascend Jinmao Tower to have an eye-bird’s view of Shanghai city. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hotel.

Day 12: July. 6th. Exit from Shanghai ( B )
Transfer to airport for departure or free on your own
