Inner-Mongolian Museum

Located in the center of Hohhot city, the Inner-Mongolian Museum is on the north-south axis with the main halls facing the east, a white horse prancing on the top of the building. It is one of the biggest museums of Mongolia that has 40 halls with 3,500 square meters. The museum is divided into four parts, characterized with the folk feature:
- Inner-Mongolian revolutionary relics hall
- The ancient biology and human hall
- The national culture relic hall of Inner-Mongolia
- The historical culture relics hall of Inner-Mongolia
It collects cultural relics of the Huns, the Eastern Hus, the Wuhuans, the Xianbeis, the Turks, the Khitans, the Nvzhens, the Dangxiangs, the Mongolian and other minority nationalities and has a floor space of 4,722 square meters. Among them, crowns and belts of the Huns, Buyao coronals of the Xianbeis’ nobels, gold of the Han Dynasty, agate saddleries, pearled dragon robes, etc. are rare treasures.
