Beijing Panda Zoo,Hutong & Lama Temple Tour
Tour Itinerary:
Pick up from your hotel at 8:30. First drive to Beijing Zoo to make friends with panda. The Beijing Zoo was built in 1906 and opened to the public in 1908 with an area of about 10 hectares and a few humble pavilions to house the animals. Then drive to the old Beijing area--Shichahai for Hutong Sightseeing by men-driven rickshaw. A hutong is an ancient city alley or lane typical in Beijing,existed as early as hundreds of years ago.You will be arranged to have lunch with locals.Wonderful experience! After lunch, move on to Tibetan Lama Temple--a famous lamasery located in the northeastern part of the old city of Beijing. It was a palatial residence built in 1694 by Qing Emperor Kangxi for his fourth son, Prince Yongzheng who later succeeded to the throne.After the tour, transferred back to your hotel.
