We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

In the past two decades, the art teacher Gong Gandi in Baoshan district cultural center often deep into the villages and towns, streets, schools to counselling, through holding workshops to promote blow molding printing.

Baoshan blow molding of printmaking creation techniques was placed in the nine-year compulsory education in grade one of junior high school textbooks. In 2000, Baoshan blowing molding prints was named one of the "100 treasures" of Shanghai suburbs. In order to learn other folk painting and the advantages of good organization method, in 1993, 2002 and 2006, Baoshan district organizations held three session of the Chinese modern folk painting and invited the country more than 30 folk art villages which were granted by a ministry to communicate, thus further develop Baoshan folk painting and provide a good experience.

Baoshan district and Baoshan district Yang Hang town were respectively in 1991 and 1996 named by the ministry of culture as "the hometown of modern Chinese folk painting" and "the hometown of Chinese folk art (blow molding prints)".
