Description: Lhoba nationality (珞巴族) has the smallest population, only 2,300, settling down in Luoyu region in the southeast of Tibet.

Religion: Natural worship is the earliest belief of Lhoba ancestors. They thought that numerous natural objects and natural phenomenon has intelligence, each performing its own function.
Lhoba nationality considers natural animals and plants as their ancestors, so totem worship comes into being. All the tribes have different totems including tiger, leopard, wild ox, wild bear, monkey, pig, sheep, dog, eagle, crow, cuckoo, pigeon, sun, moon, knife, and so on.
Shamanism is one of the original religions of Lhoba nationality. Lhoba people consider that wizard is the only person talking to the ghost. Wizard turns up on large sacrificial ceremony.
Clothing Character: Lhoba women wear collarless coat with narrow sleeve and tight straight skirt. They attach important to adornments. Besides silver bracelet and finger ring, they like to wear blue and white necklace and sew some ball stringed with seashell in the dress. Men’s clothing feathers with hunting life.
They are dressed in black waistcoat (long enough to the abdominal part) made from wool and wrap around a piece of cow leather. Their cap is round, made from bearskin. When going out, they usually carry bow and waist sword. Both men and women in Lhoba tribe are fond of adornments. Commonly, men wear bracelet, bamboo ear ring and necklace. Women adorn colorful pearl necklace.
Food Culture: Under the influence of Tibetan, their daily dishes are as the same as Tibetan such as baked meat, dried meat, milk dregs and buckwheat cake. Universally, Lhoba people are addicted to wine including barley wine and corn wine.
Arts: Lhoba music is in simple and low tone without strict rhythm. Amounts of love song are formulated off the cuff according to the traditional tune. Their folk music instruments include shaoye, bamboo jew’s harps, flute and erhu. Lhoba dance is rooted from the practice. Many actions simulate animals and birds.
Architecture: The traditional house of Lhoba nationality is stone house. It is firm and has the function of defense. They draw some bless pictures on the door or wall. The head of animal hung on the wall is not only the symbol of wealth, but also the flaunt of hunting ability.
