Exhibition Hall B has over 300 items from aeronautics, astronautics, energy, communications, material science and mechanics, information technology, life science and environmental science. 3. Beijing Zoo (Giant Pandas)<\/a>\u00a0\u5317\u4eac\u52a8\u7269\u56ed
\n<\/strong>Beijing Zoo is located to the west of Beijing City ( 2km west of Xizhimen Subway Station Line 2 ). It has both rare Chinese animals, such as the Giant Panda and the Golden Monkey, and also a wide selection from around the world – from Polar Bears to Kangaroos. Over 6,000 animals of over 500 species are on show.<\/p>\n

The present place of Beijing Zoo was originally the imperial garden in the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). Various plants and trees were cultivated and animals were raised here in the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1911). After 1949, the site was renovated and was later well known as the West Suburban Park.<\/p>\n

In 1955, the name was turned into Beijing Zoo and the range of animals was increased. The visits by the heads of states have brought some of the animals as gifts.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Dubbed “Disney in Beijing”, a Chinese theme park, one of the “Happy Valley” chains. The first “Happy Valley” has been successfully operating for many years in Shenzhen in south China’s Guangdong Province.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Shijingshan Amusement Park is located north of the Bajiaocun subway station of Metro Line 1, about 15 km west of Tian’anmen. It is easily accessible either by the line 1 subway or many public traffic.<\/p>\n

8. Beijing China Aviation Museum<\/a>
\n<\/strong>China Aviation Museum is about 40 miles north of Beijing and located in the foot of fascinating Xiao Tang Hill (XiaoTangShan) in Chang Ping County. On November 11, 1989, it was opened to the public in the 40th Anniversary of the Founding of Air Force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.<\/p>\n

At present, the aviation museum has a collection of over 200 airplanes with the types more than 100, and weapon and equipped samples like ground-air missile, high cannon, radar, aviation bomb and aviation cameras. Among which, many of them are the precious cultural relics of domestic and world aviation treasure works.<\/p>\n

9. Beijing World Park<\/a>

As a miniature park, the Beijing World Park is situated in the Fengtai District southwestern of downtown Beijing. It is 20 kilometers from Tiananmen and 40 kilometers from the Capital International Airport.<\/p>\n

Chills and spills for skaters and shoppers at this small indoor rink in the World Trade Center.
