Plan your trip to Peitian Village<\/a><\/span><\/strong>?\u00a0 The ancient Ming and Qing building complex in the Peitian Village is one of the three major kinds of\u00a0vernacular Hakkak\u00a0houses. The other two are Fujian Tulou <\/a>(clay buildings<\/span>)<\/strong> in Southwest Fujian and Weilong Wu (circled dragon houses) in Meizhou of east Guangdong Province. <\/span><\/div>\n

The ancient Peitian Village is\u00a0nestled in the\u00a0mountainous areas by\u00a0a river\u00a0in Liancheng County of Longyan City in west Fujian Province. It\u00a0lies\u00a0100km to the\u00a0northeast of Longyan City and 300km northeast of Xiamen City. The Ming and Qing building\u00a0cluster has been well preserved with a history of over 800 years. <\/span><\/div>\n

The ancient building\u00a0comlex includes 30\u00a0grand houses, 21 ancestral halls, 6 academies of classical learning, 2 memorial archways, and a 1000- meter long ancient street cobblestones paved road. <\/span><\/div>\n
