As the capital city of Gansu, one of the less developed provinces in China,\u00a0Lanzhou<\/span><\/a> doesn’t possess many luxury hotels. At the time of my writing, no international\u00a0chain hotels are available in the city of\u00a0Lanzhou.<\/p>\n

Mid-range hotels, like 4 or 3 stars take a large share of the market in\u00a0Lanzhou<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0In the past few years, Lanzhou has seen the fast growing of express hotels such Hanting Inn and Hotels, Jinjiang Inn, Home Inn, Green Tree Inn…<\/p>\n

If you travel on a budget, these kinds of express hotels mentioned above are highly recommended. They are clean, cheap and equipped with in-house fast\u00a0internet.<\/p>\n

If you don’t have your laptop on hand, you may go to the compact lobby, such as the lobby of Hanting Inns, they often put two free computers in the lobby for people to use, to surf and to\u00a0print.<\/p>\n

Gansu\u00a0Sunshine Plaza<\/strong> ( 5 star )<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
Lanzhou Sunshine Plaza is the only 5 start hotel in Lanzhou at the moment. It is located at No. 428 Qingyang Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou. Qingyang Road is the main avenue running from east to west, east of the Dong Fang Hong Square in the center of the city center of Lanzhou. Lanzhou Sunshine Plaza is situated at the western tip of Qingyang Road.<\/p>\n

Qingyang Road\u00a0\u00a0parallels Zhangye Pedestrian Street to its north. Walking toward the north direction, you’ll easily get to\u00a0 Zhongshan Bridge<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

All the 189 guestrooms and suites are equipped with IDD telephones, satellite TV channels, and broadband Internet access.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Lanzhou Legend Hotel (4 star)<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

This is a 4 star hotel that most of the leisure or business travelers would like to choose to use for their first trip to Lanzhou. Lanzhou legend Hotel is centrally located at 599, Tianshui Road, Lanzhou, by the crossroad formed by north-south Tianshui Road and east -west Donggang Xilu.<\/p>\n

Walk down to the south from Lanzhou Legend Hotel along Tianshui Road, you will soon get to Lanzhou Railway Station<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 The two\u00a0Lanzhou bar streets – Gannan Road and Maijishan Road, are just one and two blocks south of Lanzhou Lengend Hotel.<\/p>\n

Walk along Donggang Xilu, you soon pass by Jin Jiang Sun Hotel, then come across Dongfang Square, the heart of Lanzhou. Again you walk towards the west, soon you will be Qingyang Road, in which the 5 star hotel Gangsu Sunshine Hotel.<\/p>\n

Jin Jiang Sun Hotel is next to Lanzhou legend Hotel,\u00a0 589 Donggang Xilu, Lanzhou.\u00a0Opposite to \u00a0Jinjiang Sun Hotel is termnal for the shuttle buses at \u00a0the Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport<\/a><\/span>. The hotel’s central location is ideal for easy access to Lanzhou’s international exhibition center, Parkson Shopping Center and major transportation hubs such as the train station and airport.<\/span><\/div>\n
