The earth wall at Zhenchuankou is over 5 metes high, dotted with guide-towers and beacon-towers at a short interval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wall at Zhenchuankou extends to Hongcibu Fortress and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tour-beijing.com\/blog\/shanxi-travel\/datong-travel\/deshengbu-fortress-at-datong-great-wall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deshengbu Fortress<\/a> in the west direction and to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tour-beijing.com\/blog\/shanxi-travel\/datong-travel\/zhenbianbu-fortress\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tour-beijing.com\/blog\/shanxi-travel\/datong-travel\/zhenbianbu-fortress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zhenbianbu Fortress <\/a>in the east direction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.5 km south of Zhenchuankou Great Wall is the ancient <strong>Zhenchuanbu Fortress<\/strong> <strong>(\u9547\u5ddd\u5821)  <\/strong>where the soldiers stationed for defending the Wall and the border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An ancient village for the same name of<strong> Zhenchuankou Village<\/strong> (<strong>  \u9547\u5ddd \u6751) i<\/strong>s perched near the Wall. \u00a0It is a laid-back \u00a0scrubby village with many young people having left for the cities to make a better living. \u00a0Many houses are either abandoned or dilapidated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zhenchuankou Great Wall, &nbsp;some give way to the roads, &nbsp;ruined &nbsp;and overgrown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a
