Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge is a typical Dong people’s architecture, built 1912, a stone bridge, 64.4 meters long,3.4 meters wide and 10.6 meters high. On its five stone piers are covered with wood boards on which stand five wooden pavilions which house a wooden corridor lined with benches for people to keep from rain and take a break.<\/p>\n

Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge is a combination of \u00a0bridge, corridor and pavilion, a unique feature of Dong style architecture. The five pavilions are built with a four-story tower style pavilions each with double eaves, elaborately decorated. \u00a0A 50 yuan entrance ticket allows you to walk though the bridge and visit the Dong villages dotted nearby.<\/p>\n
