Victoria Jenna (\u51ef\u73cd) is one of the 8\u00a0<\/span>Victoria Cruises<\/span><\/a> sailing on <\/span>Yangtze River<\/span><\/a>. Built in 2009, Victoria Jenna is the newest and best among the\u00a0Victoria\u00a0riverboats at the time of writing. We are lucky to be on board Victoria Jenna on Oct 17, 2010 and start our\u00a0<\/span>China Yangtze River Cruise<\/span><\/a> downstream from Chongqing to Yingchang.<\/p>\n

<\/span>At 7:50pm we arrive at Dock No.11\u00a0of\u00a0Chaotianmen\u00a0Port where our Victoria Jenna docks\u00a0waiting for us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From where we get off our bus to where Victoria Jenna docks, we have to walk down dozens of steps, then aross\u00a0a floating bridge leading to the dock and enter Victoria Jenna. <\/span><\/div>\n

So it is over 100 meters walking from the parking lot down to the dock, and if you have large suitcases, you are adviced to pay a porter available on the spot to carry them to the luggage cabin\u00a0in Victoria\u00a0Jenna.<\/p>\n

<\/span>We are given a warm welcome by the staff\u00a0on Vicoria Jenna.<\/span><\/div>\n

Entering the river boat, we find\u00a0ourselves directly in the lobby, which is on the second deck. The staff at the front desk\u00a0are\u00a0very helpful and friendly. The check-in doesn’t take long. Only after a several minutes after check-in, we all get our checked suitcases sent by the boat staff.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Victoria Jenna is a five-deck river boat. Beside normal stairs, she also has a lift much easier for us to come to different decks. <\/span><\/div>\n

First\u00a0deck\u00a0is for baggage claim as well as the rooms for tour guides. The gym and the clinic rooms are located on this deck.<\/span><\/div>\n

Apart from the guest rooms, on the 5th deck there are a smoking room, a wifi internet room, a lounge as well as a huge ballroom called Yangtze Club. The club is the only gathering place for all guests. <\/span><\/div>\n

The open-air observation deck is the on the 6th floor at the front.<\/p>\n

<\/span>I stay at Room 519 on the 5th deck. The room is elegantly furnished according to a 5-star luxury hotel with a spacious balcony as well as a huge window because it is located in the corner.<\/span><\/div>\n
