White Cloud Mountain
About 17 kilometers (10 miles) north of
Guangzhou, White Cloud Mountain covers an area of 28 square kilometers (10 square miles), consisting of 30 peaks. From ancient times, White Cloud Mountain has been one of the most famous spots of natural beauty in Guangzhou.
It has six areas that are popular with visitors, Bright Pearl Building Park, the San tailing Summit Park, the Bird Spring Valley Park (Mingchun Valley), the Santailing Park, the Luhu Park and the Fei’eling Park, all of which make White Cloud Mountain is an ideal place for people to relax.

The Pearl River
The Pearl River is the 3rd largest river in China, just next to the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. With a length of about 2,000 kilometers, the Pearl River in
Guangzhou, unlike other rivers displaying only natural beauty, boasts the type of scenery that only belongs to a modern urban area.
The Pearl River immediately starts to look more interesting after the sun-set. The bridges, decorated by colorful shining neon lights, seem like fantastic rainbows spanning the river. On both banks, the nightlife of the city awakens. It becomes gorgeous with a blaze of lights.

Yuexiu Park
Yuexu Park is considered to be one of the central parks in
Guangzhou; recently it has been nominated as the scenic park of Guangzhou. It acts as a natural defense in the northern part of the Guangzhou city together with White Cloud Mountain.
With the total area of 860,000 square meters, now, Guangzhou Yuexu Park is known for providing immense and comprehensive cultural recreation. It consists of one main hill, Yue Jin Gang, 7 small hills Guihua Gang, Muhe Gang, Yu Gang, etc. and Baixiu, Nanxiu, Dongxiu artificial lake. Since the Yuan dynasty, Yue Xu Mountain is considered to be a good scenic park in Guangzhou.

Bright Filial Piety Temple
Situated at the north end of Guangxiao Road , Bright Filial Piety Temple has a long history of more than 1700 years. It is said that “Bright Filial Piety Temple existed before the Guangzhou came into being”.
Guangzhou Bright filial Piety Temple provide insight into the history of Chinese Buddhism, culture, and architecture as well as the local history of Guangdong Province. The main complex consists of Mahavira Hall, Sixth Ancestor Hall (Liuzudian), Samgharama Hall, Heavenly King Hall (Tianwangdian), the East and West Iron Towers, and the Mahakaruna Dharani Sutra Pillar.

Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family
Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family is also called Chen Clan Academy or Chen’s Lineage Hall. Located at Zhongshan 7th Road, Guangzhou city, Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family is an important unit for the preservation of antiques.
It used to supply accommodation for members of the Chen family who came to 
Guangzhou for imperial examinations. Now it is Guangdong Folk Craftwork Museum. The temple is a compound complex consisting of nine halls, six courtyards and nineteen buildings connected by corridors, all separated by walls from the outside world.

Shamian Island
Located on the north bank of the Pearl River’s White Goose Pool, 
Guangzhou city,  Shamian Island covers a tiny area of 0.3 sq. meters. Shamian Island is not a true island, the name Shamian means sandbank.
Thanks to the many buildings of Western classicism on the island, it has recently been designated as a key protected relic of the state, and is called the ‘Ninth Sight of Guangzhou’. The island boasts many trees and pleasant environment, together with such buildings, organizations, sports and entertainment facilities.

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall
Dr. Sun Yat-sen memorial hall is one of the most popular tour destinations in
Guangzhou. Completed in 1931, The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was built in honor of the great Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
The memorial hall and the courtyard together cover an area of 62,000 square meters with the 6,600-square-meter’s major building with a framework of steel work and reinforced concrete. The whole construction is majestic, solemn and rich in Chinese national culture. As an important place for conferences and performances, Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall can hold thousands of people with sound equipment. In the hall there is also a display gallery showing pictures and letters of Sun Yat-sen.

Guangdong Provincial Museum
Located at the original site of the Zhongshan University, the Guangdong Provincial Museum is today a tourist favourite in
Guangzhou.
Even if it is named as a provincial museum, the museum of Guangdong is today a leading cultural and historical showcase that relates to the heritage of China, and also happens to be a good place to learn about the history of this wonderful land in vivid detail. The museum houses a collection of more than 100,000 artefacts of pottery, bronze, and stone along with ancient art, manuscripts and fossils.

Temple of the Six Banyan Trees
The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is an ancient Buddhist temple originally built in 537 in the Liang Dynasty in
Guangzhou, southern China.
Located on the Liurong Road (meaning the Six Banyan Trees Road). It has a rich collection of cultural-relics and is renowned both at home and abroad.
The temple’s proximity to foreign consulates in Guangzhou has made it a regular destination for families participating in the international adoption of children from China. Typically families receive blessings for their newly adopted children at this temple in front of the statue of Kuan Yin.

Chime-Long Paradise is a major amusement park in Panyu District,
Guangzhou city. It is a world class tourist kingdom which always brings happiness to the world.
