Jinshanling Great Wall, the most beautiful section of Great Wall of China

Plan your Great Wall tour? Quite a few sections of the Great Wall fan out mainly from the northern suburbs of Beijing. Which section of the Great Wall is most beautiful? People have their own favourite parts of the Wall to hike. For me, Jinshanling has been always my favourite bit of the Wall.

ABCs of Jinshanling Great Wall

The Great Wall at Jinshanling is much less touristy in comparison with the Walls at Badaling and Mutianyu. This section of Wall is situated about 140km to the northeast of Beijing, further than Baddaling and Mutianyu ( both about 80km from Beijing).

Another factor is Jinshanling Great Wall is wild, ruined, original. Its trail is steep and treacherous in some parts. Hiking Jinshanling Great Wall needs a bit stronger legs.

Jinshanling Great Wall is not designed for a touch or glimpse, but for your hitting and hiking it. The landscape is stunning and powerful, making you feel as if you were walking on a ruined and remote area. It is a paradise for whose who love to hike or seek a kind of adventure.
