| We stayed in the hotel while on our tour. The Howard Johnson Hotel is a bright, pleasant, western style hotel, with a helpful staff. Rooms are ample size and comfortable. We ate dinner in the hotel's western restaurant. Its breakfast buffet is superb with lots of western & Asian food to choose from. Our Window overlooked a part of the City Wall and we could also saw an open theatre from the same window. The light was so well done that we were able to zoom in with our camera and capture some of the actors in the play. Jan 10, 2008 |

| Contrary to the other reviews I found this hotel to be excellent. I stayed in the executive suite (free upgrade) huge room with superb views. The staff are helpful and food and bar fine we had no trouble with the lifts as it was early Jan. Excellent location south of the City Wall only problem for the not so fleet of foot is crossing the six lane road to get to the city but a taxi is as cheap. All in all at good stay. Nov 30, 2007 |

| This is a great hotel. The location is excellent right in the center of the city. Rooms are ample size and comfortable. If you're lucky enough to be on the right side you'll have a great view of the City Wall...Overall an excellent hotel for your stay in Xian. March 21, 2008 |
