We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Wuyishan Attractions
Wuyishan is a county level city which is well known for its beauty landscapes and long histories. The city located in the north-western part of Fujian Province within Nanping Prefecture area. Wuyishan covers an area of 2,798 square kilometers with a population about 210,000, with 5 townships, 5 villages and 6 tea farms. In the vicinity of the city, there are Wuyi Mountain, the most popular tourist destination in Fujian, and the first rank national scenic spot. Wuyi Mountain was granted as UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, both natural and cultural in 1999.

Nestled at the foot of the Dawang Mountain and beside the Yiqu Creek, the Wuyi palace is the oldest of its kind at the Mt. Wuyi. Covering an area of 3.5 square kilometers, it is also called the Tianbao Palace or the Chongyou Temple or the Ten-Millennia Palace.

The Nine-Crooked Creek is the essence and the centerpiece of Mt. Wuyi. This scenic spot covers an area of 8.5 square kilometers , originating at the northwest corner of the Tongmu Pass in the Sangangguo national nature preserve and running a length of 60 kilometers

The One-line-sky area is the southernmost itinerary in Mt. Wuyi and is  mainly about one grand valley running from east to west . Covering an area of 16 square kilometers , it is also called the Xi nan area due to that it is located to the south of the Nine Crook area.

Being one of the 36 most famous mountain peaks in Mt.Wuyi , the Roaring Tiger Peak is very steep and detached from other peaks around. Not only is the mountain in the shape of roaring tiger but also sounds resembling tigers roars can be heard every time the wind sweeps through the pine forest. Legend has it that one deity figure rides on a tiger inside the mountain.
