My Yichang Chongqing Yangtze Cruise ( The Third Day )

Back to our big boat - M.S. Century Sky, we start to cruise towards Wu Gorge. 40KM starting from the mouth of the Daning River( the Little Three Gorges ) of the riverside town of Wushan to the Guandukou Town of Batong County. Its cliffs tower over 900 meters, topped by the sharp, jagged peaks on the either bank. A total of 12 peaks are perched on the either side, including Goddess Peak and Peak of the Immortals.

















Arriving at Wuxian County in the later afternoon and we stayed docked in Wushan for the night. Most of the passengers disembark, enjoying two-hour free time in the town. Wushan County is the east gate of Chongqing and the western entrance to the Wu Gorge. Wushan is famous for its Little Three Gorges located on the nearby Daning River. Tommorrow we will have a boat excursion to the Little Three Gorges.
