4:00pm Jan 25, 2009 at Chongwenmen Grocery:
We are going to buy some"Gongyifu" bread for the coming days. "Gongyifu" bread is made by a local century-old Beijing Gongyifu Food Corporation. This bread is my favorite breakfast food in Beijing. Chongwenmen Grocery is just next to Beijing New World Shopping Center. We decide to buy the bread there. It is first time for me to enter Chongwenmen Grocery ( Chongwenmen Cai Shi Chang ). I'm amazed by the abundant supply of daily needs there!

The whole shopping center is festivally decorated with red laterns, huge papercuts, lucky ox, lucky scrolls...
















Buying firecrackers at one of the temporary stands selling firecrackers on the street:
There are over 500 temporary stands selling firecrackers and fireworks in Beijing. We pass a stand in our communty. We stop and choose some amount of firecrakcers and fireworks.
