Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02: Beijing
Beginning the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as theForbidden City that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to hotel. ( B L )
Day 03: Beijing
Today's highlight is to visit the great wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, continue a visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. ( B L D )
Day 04: Beijing--Lhasa by air
Met by our guide at Lhasa airport and transfered to the downtown Lhasa. On the way, you will be arranged to visit the Nietang Buddha. Stay at Lhasa Hotel with dinner arranged. ( D )
Day 05: Lhasa
Morning touring the magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery. After lunch, move on to Norbulingka Park. Lastly pay a visit to a Tibet family. Dinner is arranged at hotel. ( B L D )
Day 06: Lhasa
This morning visit the Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery. After lunch, move on to the bazaar of the Barkhor Street. Then head to the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the Carpet Factory. Dinner arranged at hotel. ( B L D )
Day 07: Lhasa--Gyangtse
Drive to Gyangtse. Get off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and transfer to your loacal hotel. First visit the Gyangtse Old Street. Then move on to Palkhor Monastery. Dinner arranged at hotel. ( B L D )
Day 08: Gyangtse--Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse and check in the local hotel. First visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery. then move on to the New Palace of Panchen. Dinner at hotel. ( B L D )
Day 09: Shigatse--Lhasa
Take a private car or jeep to Lhasa and check in Lhasa Hotel. Dinner at hotel. ( B L D )
Day 10: Lhasa--Shanghai air
After breakfast, visit the Tibet Museum. After lunch, transfer to the airport for Shanghai. Met by our tour guide and transfer to your hotel in Shanghai. You are free for rest of the day to explore the city. ( B L )
Day 11: Shanghai
After breakfast, visit Yuyuan Garden- a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds and Shanghai Museum- the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then walk along the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road. After lunch, take one hour cruising on Huangpu River. After dinner, you will enjoy amazing acrobatics show. Return to your hotel. ( B L D )
