Itinerary:

Day 01: Beijing Downtown - Simatai - Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Resort
Pick up at your hotel around 8:00am. Then head to the Simatai Great Wall. This part of your treking is one of the most beautiful sections of the Great Wall. Today's hike is focused on the east section of the Simatai Great Wall - 12 towers. Actually there are totally 16 watchtowers distributed on the east Simatai Great Wall snaking the ridge of the steep mountain. The 13th-16th towers are forbidden to hike due to their steepness and treacherousness. For most Simatai Great Wall lovers, people prefer to hike up the Great Wall, then take the cable car down. If you don't have strong legs, you may take the cable car up to an open place close to the 8th tower ( White Cloud Tower ), then climb up or climb down the Great Wall, or again you may choose to take the cable car back to the ground. Have lunch at a local restauran at the foot of the wall.

After the late lunch, continue to the Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Resort for about 2-4 hours'hot springs spa bathing at the public hot spring pools. Beijing Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Resort is situated by the beautiful Wenyu River, north of Shunyi District. It is the compound leisure & healthcare center of Beijing. It covers tourism, leisure vacation, meeting, entertainment and catering with beautiful landscapes. The hot springs at Chunhuiyuan comes underground deep in 2,300 meters. Chunhuiyuan has the same springhead to the famous Xiaotangshan hot springs, like Jiuhua Spa & Resort. As alkalescence sodium bicarbonate mineral spring, the local hot spring always keeps the water temperature at 60 degrees.

After enjoying the hot spring bath at outdoor public soaking pools, you will be arranged to stay overnght in the standard room at Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Resort. ( L )

Day 02: Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Resort - downtown Beijing
After breakfast, free activity on your own. You may enjouy your private hot springs bathing in your own room. After lunch, you will be transferred to your midtown hotel in Beijing. ( B )

Is this a private tour, or will there be other people in the car or van with us?
This is an exclusive private Tour. Once your tour is confirmed, that tour will no longer be available to anyone else except for your own traveling party.

Do I have a private dressing room to change my clothes before I go to the public spring pools for bathing?
No, you have to change your clothes in a big public dressing room. If you feel awkward changing your clothes in the public, please forget the tour.

Tell us something about the public spring pools.
All the public spring pools are open-air with lots of people, women and men wearing swimming suits bathing. On weekends, you are expecting even more crowds of visitors. So, it's better to avoid the weekends.
