Candy was an awesome tour guide who was very accommodating to our unique needs (we had some very specific dietary requirements that she made sure were taken care of every place we went). Day 01: Beijing - Taiyuan ( Pingyao ) by Overnight train
Pick up from your hotel early morning and transferred to the Beijing Station and take overnight train for Taiyuan ( Pingyao ). 4 People shares one compartment ( 4 berths cabin ).

Day 02: Arrival at Taiyuan (Pingyao) + 1 Day Tour in Pingyao - Beijing by overnight train
Arrival early morning either at Taiyuan or Pingyao. Met and transferred to the Pingyao ancient city. After breakfast, have a full day tour of Pingyao. first visit the Ancient City Wall of Pingyao City. The city of Pingyao is one of the four remaining well-preserved ancient cities in China. The city wall has a perimeter of 6.4 kilometers and is over 12 meters high and 3.5 meters wide. Then visit the Rishengchang Exchange Shop. It is the earliest bank in China, first opened in the 18th century.Rishengchang was the first money exchange shop in the history of China. Afterwards, move on to the Mingqing Street. Ming and Qing Street, also called Nanda Jie. It is one of the busy and interesting streets in which to experience ancient Chinese culture. It is 440 long, Ming and Qing Street used to be the commercial center of Pingyao ancient city. Lastly visit Armed Escort Company Museum. It offers an eye-opening armed escorts in protecting commerce. Cash moving from one area needed the armed escort firm to thwart of thieving hands. Finally visit County Government Office, an ancient city hall and law court. Chinese Lunch and Chinese Dinner included. After dinner, take Train overnight train either from Taiyuan or Pingyao to Beijing. 4 People shares one compartment ( 4 berths cabin ). ( B L D ) Attractions in Pingyao: The Ancient City Wall: The 630-year-old wall was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1997. The present city wall was reconstructed in 1370. Pingyao, an ancient banking and business center in China, has well kept streets, stores, temples and residential houses constructed during the imperial Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, and it draws many domestic and international tourists each year.
The Rishengchang Draft Bank: located at No.105 in Nanda Jie of Pingyao, it was first set up in 1823 during the reign of the sixth Qing Emperor and was the first draft bank in China. The Ming Qing Street: Ming-Qing Street in the city has become a must see attractions for tourists. This several-hundred-meter-long street is lined by 20-30 private museums showcasing the commercial and popular cultures of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Armed Escort Agencies Museum: providing a lightening inside into the significant part played by armed escorts in promoting commerce during that time.
