Shanghai Taoyuan Folk-Custom Village
Set up in Chengbei Village of Huinan Country in Nanhui District, Taoyuan Folk-Custom Village is a new-built scenic spot. Every year, especially during Peach Blossom Festival in March, the village often receives hundreds of thousands tourists for its real natural sight. There are firewood-gate, bamboo-fense, wooden-bridge, clear rivulet, fresh air, as well as clean environment. It is worthy of the name as the agricultural scenic spot.
Since 1993, more than 30 scenic spots of different kinds have been set up. Lanbufang,(blue-cloth workshop) is a minitype museum. Tourists could not only understand the history and got-up technics of the blue allover but also have a try by themselves. Of course, if you are interested of this kind of clothes, you will come back with fruitful results.
The local farmhouse cuisine is another attraction. Wide Shepherd’s-purse Hundun, Cantaloup Cake, Pickles meal will make your stomach enjoyable. There are some special cuisines features Shoutao Banquet, Hundreds of Chickens Banquet, Fish Banquet, Rural Buffet Dinner……
The holiday’s inhabitancies here are strange structure and unique style such as Taiyuan Farmhouse, Taolin tent, Gingkgo Stone House, etc. It will be a kind of outstanding experience without any doubt.
