Dear Reina,
My wife, Doug, and I have just returned from our Beijing-Xian-Shanghai trip and want to thank you and your Beijing and extended suppliers throughout China for the wonderful one week we spent in China and the most dedicated and professional service we received from our guides in Beijing (Alan), Xi'an (Jerry) and Shanghai (Bob) and their respective drivers. I make these comments as a marketing research professional whose practice includes customer service quality fulfillment evaluation. Of particular importance is that all of our arrangements were made with Tour-beijing.com via E-Mail and everything was actually delivered as promised and more.
Best personal regards, Doug Cirruzzo

Shanghai Daguanyuan

Located at the east bank of Dianshan Lake with 65kms from the city center, 45kms from Hongqiao Airport, Daguanyuan is a combination of archaized complex and modern garden. The present Daguanyuan is the replica of the magnificent garden of an imperial family described in the well-known Chinese novel “A Dream of Rea Mansions” by a Qing Dynasty writer Cao Xueqin (1715-1763).
Covering an area of 1,600 acres, Daguanyuan is separated into two parts-East and West by Qingshang Road.
On the East, the view of plants is the main attractions featuring the natural scene of water village. “Meiwuchunnong” is at the northeast holding more than 4,000 plums with area of 190 acres. In the early days of March, the clubs of all kinds compete in blossoming out, red, green, white……It seems to be a Flower Sea, overflowing aroma in the sky. At the Southeast is the “Jinxuepiaoxiang” covered with sweet-scented osmanthus over 60 acres including Golden Gui, Silver Gui, Red Gui, etc. In Autumn, the faint scent is refreshing. On the East side of Qingshang Road, there is a large velvet lawn standing nine cedars.
On the West is the courtyard of the characters in the novel lived. Yihongyuan (Happy Red Cout), used to be the residence of Jia Baoyu, hero of the novel.
Xiaoxiangguan (Bamboo Londge), a small and simple courtyard decorated in light-green, with slim bamboos grown in the courtyard, housed the weak and unlucky Lin Daiyu, heroine of the novel. Hehngwuyuan, Qiushuangzhai, Ouxiangxie, etc, are the courtyards for other sisters of Jia Baoyu. The layout of the whole courtyard is as per the description of the novel. After the tourism, you will be absorbed into the artistic conception of the novel.
Location: No.701, Qingshang Road
Open time: 8:00am-17:00pm
