Just a quick email to thank all at Tour Beijing for a brilliant 3 days tour from Beijing to Jinan, Qufu and Mt.taishan. All the guides spoke English really well and each had an amazing knowledge of the local area and history. The hotels were fantastic. I will be recommending Tour Beijing to anyone visiting China for the tremendous support I received both in person and over the phone. Please pass on my thanks to all of the local guides and keep up the good work.
Yours truly, Helen Brewis

Eighteen Pan in Mt. Tai, Shandong

Eighteen Pan in Mt. Tai, Shandong

In the bamboo node range along with the fluctuation continuously and passes through the windy entrance, 18 Pan is another featured scene. Legend about the construction of Eighteen Pan is as follows.

On the side of the 18 Pan Road there is a carved stone in the shape of a carp with the head on the ground and half the body in the ground. The ancient emperor worried that his country would be snatched so he sent many geomancers to investigate and destroyed the dragon vein. One day, one of the geomancers discovered the carp stone and also saw there is a first fontanel to this range. He knew once the carp jumped it would then became the dragon, born in a family in the mountain and then grown up to usurp the emperor’s throne

Eighteen Pan in Mt. Tai, ShandongThe geomancer found the master of the mountain and told him the true situation. The master was very happy and asked how to make the carp jump into the fontanel. The geomancer said as long as built 18 pans next to the carp, the carp will take the opportunity to fly into the fortanel. Therefore, the master asked people to construct the 18 pans non-stop day and night, then the 18 pan was completed, but the carp never became dragon. Because the true reason the geomancer told the mater was that if the carp fell into the 18 pans, it could only became a dish, then it did not become the dragon for ever.
