Just a quick email to thank all at Tour Beijing for a brilliant 3 days tour from Beijing to Jinan, Qufu and Mt.taishan. In order to educated Mencius, Mencius’s mother removes three times to search better environment for Mencius’s study. The story passed down from generation to generation. In order to commemorate the great mother, later generations set up the cemetery, additionally, some sites were preserved well such as Residence of Mencius’s Mother, a Well used by Mencius’s mother etc. With a height of 9 meters, the cemetery is situated at the foot of Mt. Saddle, surrounded by mountains about 12 kilometers from Zhou City. In front of the cemetery array such sculptures as stone table, stone chair, stone bottle as well as Imperial Stele established in Yuan and Ming Dynasty. Along a street in the south of the cemetery has standing houses, lying sheep as well as ancient cypress. Some of the cypresses are empty in the center, however, the leaves on the branches are flourishing.
