Pingyao Gushi Tower
Gushi Tower is located in the center of Pingyao Ancient City, one of the Key Cultural Relic under the Province-level Protection. Once under the tower, there is a gold will, so the tower is also called “Golden Well Tower”.
The preserved tower is 15.5-meter high, three layers with the Qing style. The roof is covered with the Kelly colored glaze, making glint under the sunshine. Several worth steles of Qing Dynasty are under the tower. An ancient street stretched in front of the tower.
The tower and the piles such as Qingxuguan, Dacheng Hall echo each other at a distance. Corresponding the mild gray public residences, Gushi Tower draws the nice picture of the city scene. Climbing the tower, you could make a bird look of the whole city.
