Day 01
Beijing ( D )
Arrival in Beijing, met by our friendly English speaking tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. Afternoon visit to , the largest imperial garden in China. The Summer Palace was a favorite haunt of the Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment. Beijing Peking Duck Dinner.Day 02
Beijing (B L)
First visit Tiananmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world. Then move on to the Forbidden City, the residence of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
After lunch, take a pedicab ride along Beijing's old quarters - Hutongs in Shichahai Area. Then continue to visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. Shopping at a local silk store.
Day 03
Beijing (B L)
First visit the Jade Museum to have a basic knowledge of China jade culture. Then begin the highlight of your Beijing tour, hiking the Great Wall of China, Mutainyu Great Wall, a massive military defense works which was left from the Ming dynasty.
After lunch, drive to the Underground Palace ( Dingling, one of the 13 Ming Dynasty Tombs complex ). From the Yongle Emperor onwards, 13 Ming Dynasty Emperors were buried in this area. You will visit Dingling, the tomb of the Wanli Emperor, which is the only one of the Ming Dynasty Tombs to have been excavated.
