Beijing Concert Hall

Beijing Concert Hall is located south of Liubukou on the West Chang� an Boulevard. The black marble building is graced with huge murals of natural stones on both sides of the main hall. There are portraits of the famous Chinese composers Nie Er and Xian Xinghai and foreign musicians are hung along the corridors and in the lounge.

Ther is a lower platform which reduces the space between performer and audience. A 15-panel reflective board hung above the stage in three groups sends sound waves from below to every corner of the hall, maximizing the acoustic effect.

Beijing Concert Hall (Yinyueting). Beijing's main venue for Chinese and Western classical music concerts also hosts folk dancing and singing, and many celebratory events throughout the year.
