As one of the three major peaks of Mt. Huangshan, (the other two are Lotus Peak and Bright Summit Peak), Celestial Capital Peak is 1,830 meters high. “Celestial Capital” means “the capital of the immortals and the city of heaven”.

Celestial Capital Peak is the steepest, although not the highest. A path to the peak was built in 1937, 1564 steps, surrounded 194 stone banisters and 600-meter iron chain to ensure the safe of the tourists.

Celestial Capital Peak is the most ideal place to appreciate the general view of Mt. Huangshan with bird’s eye. The peak is flat like palm, and there is a natural stone room, holding ten persons. A stone outside the stone room, in tipsy shape, is called “the celestial gaterkeeper”.

Overlooking as far as you can, the could and the mountain is connected; Surveying the hills, thousands of peaks competing in their beauty.
