We stayed at the Tiantan Hotel in Beijing from Feb 12 to 18 5-9. This hotel has a good location, just lying to the east of the Temple of Heaven, maybe 5 minutes' walk , and very near to Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City. What's more is also within a ten minute walk to the Hongqiao Pearl Market. This is a very nice, clean hotel with excellent service. Although most of the staff speak very little English, it seems they are doing their best to serve. All the rooms are nicely decorated. Each room has slippers and plush terry robes for your use. The hotel offers very good western breakfast. They had a full American and Chinese breakfust buffet each morning. You also have a full service spa and salon on the second floor. We would definitely recommend this hotel -- a brand new 4 star hotel. June 21, 2007

We stayed at the Tiantan Hotel in Beijing from March 10-15, 2007. This is a very cozy, clean hotel with good service. Although some of the staff speak very little English, they try their best to help us. The rooms are very nicely decorated and each room had slippers and plush terry robes for our personal use at the hotel.

The breakfast buffet is ok. It has a good choice. It has about 40 kind of Western and Chinese food. I think, the Chinese food here is much better than the Western ones. There is also an omelet desk where the cooker will prepare either fry eggs or omelets for you! We also had two late dinners in the Rainbow Restaurant for two nights. The noodles, fried rice, and dumplings were very good! March 20, 2008
