This hotel was part of the package for the tour I bought from www.etours.cn. We had no ideas about it except reading it was a 5 star hotel. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised as we (the 4 travellers from New York ) went to the lobby at around 2.00 a.m. Looked a bit more style than we were normally accustomed to what I thought to myself as I looked around the lobby. Lovely spacious rooms with good equippment. With compimentary use of bathrobes & cloth sandles. A very nice touch! The staff responsible for looking after the room did a wonderful job, replenishing each day whatever appeared to be used. Some hotels will not do this on a daily basis. It had a good gym with aerobic machines and weight machines. Along with this a sauna and steam room with a nice spa.It was well located in the center of the city. We coul walke to Tiananmen Square for about 25 minutes. After all, we had very comfortable stay in Beijing. March 22, 2007
