Harbin Siberian Tiger Park
Situated on the north bank of Songhua River, the park is the largest natural park for wild Siberian Tiger in the world at present. It combine breeding, propagate, scientific research, protection, train as well as view. Covering an area of 1,140,000kms, there are over 500 purebred Siberian tigers, with 100 visible to visitors.
There are white tigers, lions, lynx, leopards, and black pumas as weull as Bengali tigers. The whole park is divided into ten areas including the domesticating area, mature tiger area, young tiger area, liger area, Africa tiger area, the king tiger area, a walking area and a platform for viewing the tigers. The park also provides a tour bus to meet the need of tourist pursuing stimulate. The bus is protected by reinforcing steel net, then the tiger ask for food to tourists inside the bus. The exciting feeling could be felt only by taking the bus.
Another exciting activities offered by the park is also stimulated. In addition to viewing the tigers walking leisurely in the open-air, visitors can buy poultry or animals to feed them such as ducks, chickens, and even cows. Park employees will set the living animal free among the tigers, and visitors can see the unique living action of tigers preying upon it.
