Harbin Huatian Wujimi Ski Resort
Wujimi, a Manchu language, means a place blossoming flowers. It is noted for the elegance environment, clean air, especially for its nice snow. Wujimi ski resort is praised “the hometown of ski” and “the cradle of Ski Champion” for its long history.
The ski period lasts from the Nov. to the next Mar., about 120 days. Located in Wujimi township, Shangzhi city, Heilongjiang province, 120Kms to Ha'erbing city, one of the earlist ski resort for competition in China, top alt 536.6meters, average slope: 14º, skiable from Dec to Mar, winter temperature: -12º, trails 5, and one trail about 1000meters in length with slopes of 7-8º, and 3 cross country (Nordic) trails, 1 lift. In 2004, the ski resort was enlarged completely, planning to open 18 ski runs, 21kms totally. At present, 3 ski runs have been put into practice, 5,000 meters long. It also provides 2,000 ski tools and 500 ski clothes. Besides, there are four European style villas。
