Pick up from your midtown hotel in Hangzhou and head to Lingyin Temple. Lingyin Temple is a Buddhist temple of the Chan sect nestled in the Flying Peak north-west of Hangzhou. The temple's name is commonly literally translated as Temple of the Soul's Retreat. It is one of the largest Buddhist temples in China. The Flying Peak features a large number of grottos and religious rock carvings.
After Chinese lunch, you are taken to Faxi Temple. Faxi Temple ( upper-Tianzhu ) is one of the three Temples at Tianzhu located in the mountains south of Lingyin Temple. The other two are Fajing Temple (Down-Tianzhu) and Fajing Temple (mid-Temple). They are built from the bottom to the top of Tianzhu Hill. Faxi Temple is the largest and most influential temple among the three. The image of Guanyin is consecrated in each Main Hall. Every year a great number of buddhists pilgrims flock here.
Then head to Jingci Temple. It is situated at the foot of Huiri Peak of Nanping Hill, south of West Lake. The temple is listed as a national key Buddhist temple by state council in 1983. It was first constructed in AD 954 by Qian Hongji, the king of Wuyue Dynastry for a famous monk named Yong Ming. In South Song Dynasty, its name was changed to Jingci Temple. It hosts one of Ten Views of West Lake - "Evening Bell Ringing at the Nanping Hill".
After the whole day tour, you are transferred back to your midtown hotel in Hangzhou.
