Impression West Lake-a unique metropolitan outdoor performance in a natural stage setting, is the most beautiful metropolitan theater with natural mountains and water as its backdrop.Directed by Zhang Yimou, the content of the performance would be circled firmly to the word “water” in order to incarnate the essence and lingering charm of the West Lake. By using the high-tech means to reveal; the scenes of West Lake in the Rain and the West Lake Rain. T he core concept of “Impression West Lake”— is to emphasize on searching for the ancient folk legends and myths of Hangzhou, rely on real scene theater to reflect the traditional culture, incarnate the natural specialties, historic details and folk cultural deposit of Hangzhou.
Thanks to the magical colors from each of the four seasons in Jiangnan (south of the Yangtize River), every show offers a uniquely wonderful feeling. Moreover, the performance strengthen the taste of the nightlife in Hangzhou, make you a longer stay in the place.
