Pick up from your hotel in the city proper of Beijing around 8:30am. Then drive to Beijing Purple Bamboo Park. Entering the south gate to the park and walk through the park till you get to the wharf near its north gate. The one hour walking in the park brings you closer to the locals and you will have a deep and better understanding of Beijing city life. The boat leaves the wharf at 10:30am. Then you start your 40 minutes' boat ride along the 6-km Changhe River. The boat arrives at Beijing Summer Palace. You will be arranged to visit the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China - Summer Palace. After the buffet lunch and a fresh water pearl market, you will be returned to your hotel in Beijing. Let's start the virtual royal river boat now!
